2023Change in the Company's business profile, which is related to the sale, regeneration, processing, and recovery of sulphuric acid from external suppliers. Thanks to its unique technology, the Company can close the circulation of substances in various production processes, thus offering an innovative solution in line with the idea of the Circular Economy and Environmental Protection.
The recovery process is conducted in several stages:
- Combustion of the raw material in a furnace, complete oxidation of the raw material to CO2 and H2O, with decomposition of sulphur to SO2,
- Recovery of combustion heat in the boiler - transfer of exhaust heat to produce steam,
- Dedusting of process gas – removal of solid impurities in the electrostatic precipitator,
- Two-stage catalytic conversion of sulphur dioxide to sulphur trioxide in a reactor,
- Condensing sulphuric acid from the process gas in the condenser.
