Hexane fraction is the product obtained from aromatic C6,C7fractions by extractive distillation.
It is a colourless or light yellow liquid free of sediment.

Aplication areas

Hexane fraction is used as a feedstock for pyrolysis, isomerisation, reforming and for production of solvents. It may be also used as a component for gasoline production.
