Regeneration of spent sulfuric acid
The use of
H₂SO₄ in industry is currently very wide, and professional recovery of this
valuable raw material through the purification of sulphuric acid carried out in
appropriate conditions is necessary for ecological and economic reasons. Thanks
to the implemented process, pure sulphuric acid can be reintroduced into
circulation and used in any production processes, in the same way as if it had
just been produced.
Why
is it worth regenerating sulphuric acid?</h2>
Our
innovative Sulphuric Acid Recovery plant enables effective regeneration of the
used substance with very low process losses. Requiring purification, spent
sulphuric acid is currently disposed of in most cases, contributing to a
significant increase in the amount of post-industrial waste. Contaminated sulphuric
acid regenerated in our plant can be reused in any process. Closing its cycle
through recovery has a positive impact on the environment by significantly
reducing emissions of sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, and PM10 particulate
matter, which contribute to the deterioration of air quality and the formation
of acid rain. H₂SO₄ can be purified and regenerated in this way any number of
times with low process losses. This means that recovering contaminated sulphuric
acid and reusing it can very effectively affect the profitability of production
processes in which it is used, as well as support ecological care.
